I have a gen4 5.3 that im building a 346 out of. My question is can i just swap to a 24 tooth reluctor wheel and buid the engine as if it was a gen 3 and use the gen 3 harness with knock sensor extensions and use the gen 3 pcm. If not what else will need to be done. Thanks for any help.

yes you can. Get the LS2 front cover and LS2 1x timing set

Hate to ask stupid ? But what will the ls2 parts do? I am going to use ls6 or after market intake with cable tb

Also is it possible to run a ls1 crank in tbe 5.3. Thanks

cam sensor is in the front cover on Gen IV engines, yes you can use the ls1 crank they're all the same (after 02)
