Hi, I have a 98' Trans-AM. I bought a new dash that came with the pasenger side airbag installed in it, and the drivers side airbag, and this silver box. Do I need anything for the replacement??? I was wondering if there were any other sensors that needed to be replaced???
Thanks

you got everything, that silver box is the airbag computer. Just make sure you unplug your battery before insalling ![The Patriot !!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_patriot.gif)
edit: if your car was hit real hard in the front you might want to visually check if the sensor is ok, im not sure exactly where the sensor is on camaros.

Supersport, did you ever figure this out? I have a parts catalog on cd-rom for 93-02 firebirds. When looking at a detail of the inflatable restraint system components, I see no sensors in the front of the vehicle. I am thinking maybe that the silver box is an all-in-one sensor and computer module. That might be why it's mounted to the chassis in the center of the vehicle. I'm still scared to put the fuse back in tho...
