I'm converting an '08 HHR Panel from a fwd weed-eater motor to '01 Z28 LS1
running gear. The fabrication is progressing but I need lots of computer help. I want this conversion to have as many safety and creature comforts as possible. The couple (2) LS converted HHRs that I know of were not drivers and could not be registered in any state (especially Calif.) Is there anyone on this forum that can help me out with merging the two cars computers to work in the HHR? There has got to be a way to do this.

 

Probably going to be an issue of CAN data vs VPW data not allowing communication between your old and new stuff. It would have probably been easier using a e40 harness and controller from a gto as it could be closer to what you have comm wise. Not sure past that unless it was in front of me.
