PCM programing Is it possible to program an 02 Camaro PCM to an 04 GTO PCM to run an LS1 engine?
The reason is I need to make my 02 ls1 swap look like an 04 GTO to pass ref inspection and the PCM also needs to read that it is an 04. I have miss match manifolds right now on the car so I need to make it one or the other.

Steve is Correct, The 2002 pcm and the 2004 pcm are totally different although on the outside they look similar. The flash chip is the wrong size and will not accept the 1meg file.
Though, as far as the ref thing you are speaking of, Just change the Vin number to match the one you want, Vins can be anything you want if you use the right software. The vin is all they look at, and that is not a problem. So just change the vin not the whole program.
