Default obdwiz software qusetions ?

im just buying obd scantools software .

it is ok for link to my ls1 pontiac gto ,

but ,, when i want to reset the troble codes ,, im worry about losing the old tune ?!!

i was making my car tuning by HP tuner , like fans and shifting gear .

any body tell me the scantools could be reset all setting pcm like the car is new ?!

this is the commant that i am worry to do :
Please note that clicking the clear codes button will reset the MIL and clear all emission-related diagnostic information including


· Diagnostic trouble codes
· Freeze frame data
· Oxygen sensor test data
· Status of system monitoring tests
· On-board monitoring test results
· Distance traveled with the MIL activated
· Engine run time with the MIL activated
· Number of warm-ups since DTCs cleared
· Distance traveled since DTCs cleared
· Time since DTCs cleare

· Diagnostic trouble codes
· Freeze frame data
· Oxygen sensor test data
· Status of system monitoring tests
· On-board monitoring test results
· Distance traveled with the MIL activated
· Engine run time with the MIL activated
· Number of warm-ups since DTCs cleared
· Distance traveled since DTCs cleared

No you won't lose your tune with it.
Free @ scantool dot net with the purchase of
an ELM 5. It's just generic OBD2 basic.

A normal scan tool will not erase your tune. It just clears codes.
