Default Power band

I recently bought a 2000 m6 z28 and when my friend who hp tunes went to plug into it he noticed that the tune was pretty aggressive for being completely stock( minus exhaust) but the issue that I'm concerned with is the power band in the car as of right now is from 3000-3800 is that common for the cars to be tuned this way jw any info will be helpful

Not sure what you mean by power band on the car? It isn't a 2 stroke.

As for timing if that is what you mean, Usually they have more timing where there is peak torque. It is perfectly normal for your stock 2000 tune to look like it does. Bad flowing heads and a few other things allow it to accept the larger timing numbers compared to the newer ls3 based engines with better flowing heads.

On the dyno you will see that the timing just follows your torque curve, then the horsepower takes over pretty quick past that.
