Time for a tune or not? Hey have a 98 z28 m6. Has slp lid,no cats with rear o2's pulled put of stream via spark defoulers, slp lm1 cat back, stock manifolds. Its smelling very rich after the lm1 install n itll give puff of black after a quick throttle burp. You guys think its time for a tune? N can mail order tunes delete emissions? Im in pa n check engine lights on 96 n newer will fail, n all monitors have to seem ok.

It definitely sounds like your running rich. I can relate since I've had customers come into my shop and make dyno runs who left black marks on the walls. Anyways, a tune would definitely be your ticket to getting your car running a lot better. Unfortunately, we are in Iowa, but if you mailed us your ECU we could definitely do some work on it and get it pretty dang close at less of a cost than taking it to a local dyno. We have over 10 years of combined tuning experience and started the shop in November. We would like to get our good name out there.
