Does anyone have an HP Tuner in the DFW area?
Does anyone have an HP Tuner in the DFW area? Or know of a good tuner? That will shut off my rear O2's for cheap?
So the story goes I just moved here from NY with my catless V. Since I live in Tarrant county (emissions testing) The V has to pass an emissions inspection before I can register it and change my license over. So basically I need to shut the rear o2 codes off.
I would just go have my car dyno tuned and have it done but since money is a little tight right now, and I will just need to go back and have it tuned several months from now (when I do my H/C swap) id like to just have them shut off now cheap. Just to get my car inspected and registered.
I called Dallas performance and they can do it for me for 100$ if they had the HP software, but since they would be buying it for me it would actually be 200$. So hopefully there is a forum member here that could help me for a little cheaper than 200$ even if I had to buy them HP credits or whatever else. If all else fails I will just have to bite the bullet and pay them which is not the end of the world, but a penny saved here = the faster I can make more power.

The reason why no shop will do it is because they will spend $100 to just buy the credits needed for the vin . Few if any shops are going to have unlimited for the year and make of your car. (Not like it is a 99 F Bod)
