Default AEM wideband issue

Gauge seems to work for the first 10srconds but then pegs out and goes all wacky. I did buy it used. Could it be a bad sensor?

You check for exhaust leaks? does it only peg out at idle, what does it read while driving?

Test the sensor, pull the sensor out of the bung, spay some carb/brake cleaner in a rag, and then place the sensor in it. if it reads rich then goes full lean you have a bad sensor. If it stays at full rich, then your sensor is good, if it pegs out at full lean while in the rag, then bad sensor

Wouldn't be a wiring issue, i tapped into the head unit harness for that and confirmed with the volt meter. i will probably try the carb cleaner in the rag tonight when i get home
