mileage verification
mileage verification Was wondering if i am able to to pull the mileage from my stock 99 ls1 pcm? reason i ask is i want to pull the original vin and mileage as for a proof of where i purchased it from. Supposedly the guy i bought it from said it had 78k miles... It came off of a 99 TA with a an auto, and i going with a 98 T56. I bought a T56 pcm from a fellow member and waiting to hear on the engine harness for the t56 as well.. I assume it could be programmed into the "new" T56 pcm right?

the vin is on the computer and easily changed.
the mileage isn't on the computer as far as I know, only in the odometer.

i was told that it would be easier to tune if i had a t56 manual pcm, but i was also told i could flash the auto pcm to manual specs but i would have to tow it to the dealer to get it reflashed to a vin specific t56 pcm.. i was hoping to verify the mileage though..

damn that sucks for the mileage verification.. who knows if it has 78k or 178K... Oh well! i guess how many miles it has once i get it completed.. lsx power tuning do you do emissions legal tuning?
