Default Help with knock retard

Hey guys , I need you to take a look at some scans from a freinds 2000 SS camaro. We tapped it and are getting upwards of 10 degrese of knock low in the rpm range. The car is almost completely stock with the excepion of a loudmouth cat back. Any ideas on how to cure this ? Temps were high , coolant was up near 101 degrese and intake temps around 26c

Here are the screen shots

Any help guys ? We dont have ls1edit yet so Im thinking cool it down with a 180 degree thermastat and get the fans coming on a bit sooner, bump to 94 octain and hope its gone .

Any thoughts on the knock out box ? Im not conviced this is false knock but its always low down in the rpm .

Have you tried any 100+ octane fuel to see if the knock goes away?

No we havent but that is a good idea. I suppose that would tell us if it is false knock or not.
