Question 98 pcm to 99+ re-pin process

i know im beating on a dead horse but i just want to confirm that i understand the re-pinning procedure. in chipsbyal's doc it says that the 98 Red c1/Blue C2 is backwards from the 99+ as it's Blue C1/Red C2. so for example, "1. Red C1-3 WHT TO Red C2-45" is it really basically taking it from red C1-3 and just relocating it on the SAME red side to C2-45 slot? and basically turning the red c1(98) to a Red C2(99+)?
