ls1 Predator Diablo Sport Tuner

Hi all, i recently purchased a Diablo Sport Predator Tuner for the sake of clearing the SES light (ses light went on after about 20 miles of driving on a newly ported throttle body) with obd2 reader and adding a little power with the canned tune and later ordering a custom tune.....i have been reading a lot on this tuner and how it is great for what i want to do as far as getting a custom tune later down the road with all the logging i am going to be doing, but i have been reading and hearing from other people saying that this tuner will clear and erase codes and others are saying that it wont...anybody have a definite answer? Model of tuner is U1798 and i got it off of summitracing.com on a good sale price becasue they discontinued them becasue of the intune...

Clearing codes and disabling codes are two entirely different deals.

The tool will let you clear codes anytime the check engine light comes on. If your goal is to disable those codes, so the CEL no longer comes on to report them, that requires a custom tune from one of our CMR tuners.

correct... you can "clear" the codes, but you can not disable the codes... they will keep coming back...

and yes you would need to get a custom tune done in order to have that done... and I can certainly hook you up with a custom tune for your car....

you'll need to do data logging throughout the tuning process anyway, so yes...
