5.3 with 4.8 PCM I have a 5.3 but a 4.8 computer. I still need to have the computer flashed for my LSX conversion.
Can I run this combo without adjusting the tune or do I need to have something done when it is flashed? Can a tech changing the setup of the computer load a stock 5.3 tune?
Any input would help.

It is close enough it will probably run if they both have the same injectors. I highly recommend getting the pcm flashed with the correct tune though. If its an engine conversion the pcm will have to be flashed to delete vats and a few other things at as minimum in order for it to run. If you mailed the pcm to us it would be $200 + $15 shipping with a 1 day turnaround time. That would be a full mail order tune for an ls swap, not just deleting vats.
