surges just above idle
surges just above idle Had car back to tuner to raise the TC lockup and tinker with the idle...He lowered the idle now it will die with sudden stops and surges just above idle.. Is there something I need to look for or is it in his tune....

OK, here goes.
66 chevelle, 6.0l lq4/4l60E, ls3 intake, nw 92mm dbc,,.610lift cam,3200 revmax convertor, 3.42 gears, hooker headers.

didn't think it would stump everyone....
I had the same problem, worked on the final minimum idle vs rpm vs gear. I'm really close now and just have a few issues between short stops, say between stop signs. I'm getting close. Glad you got yours figured out. Its tough to tune a bigger cam like ours on the street.
