Default Sluggish CTS-V

A friend of mine seems to think that his 05 CTS-V M6 isn't quite as responsive as it should be, and wondered if I could tune it to be a little crisper. His main complaint is, from a slow roll in first gear, he hits the throttle, and acceleration is sluggish, doesn't even try to spin the tires. Seemed a little lacking to me as well.

The car has a K&N intake and Magnaflow cat back, and the VE tables aren't tuned and he wont give me the car for enough time to correct them. No provisions for a wideband at either. I know, it's not a great situation. I pulled all the torque management already, didn't seem to change anything.

Any thing we can do for him? I tried a tune from the repository similar to his setup, but it gave it a bunch of KR and didn't seem to help anything.

Thanks guys.

Your set up for failure before you even start. Without a wideband to dial in wot fueling your pretty much just wasting time. Just killing tq management isn't going to do anything.
