Hypertech power programmer

I just bought a hypertech programmer and when it's scanning my car it says NS with your VEH. What does this mean

I have never seen it say NS but it might say not for this vehicle. If you give me more info on vehicle and programmer like part number and serial number I can look it up for you

It freezes when it is saying wait for communicatio(NS with your VEH)icle
