Engine Management Lq9 into 03 S10
Engine Management Lq9 into 03 S10 Ok guys I have an 03 s10 4.3 5spd. I want to put in an lq9. I found an engine with all sensors except maf but there is no computer with it. Should I look for a computer then buy a harness or should I go with something like FAST or Holley? Plans for engine are cam, milled 241s and spray.
Based on what you listed above, my suggestion would be the Holley HP or Dominator EFI. If you don't need more than 4 inputs/outputs, DBW, or trans control, the HP will likely do the job.
if you have the harness for the lq9 you can make all the gauges work some what easily. I have an lq9 with l92 heads and ls3 intake. I bought the ecu off ebay and had tunedbyfrost set it up. I now have hptuners and do it all myself.
