Wideband sensor and fresh air....

Had the wideband bung welded in right where the Ypipe meets (hooker Y). I'm running open Y pipe at the moment, but I'm curious to know if it alright to use the Wideband with the sensor about 6 inches away from where my Y pipe ends.

Just drive around and see if it gives whacked-out readings.

Matt,

The WBO2 ideally needs to be upstream (before) the cat(s). As long as it is before the muffler, I should be fine. Do you have a single cat or dual cats?

No cats. The difference between pre and post cats is minute anyways. I'm just asking if the readings will be skewed since my sensor is 6inches from where my Ypipe DUMPS. I have no catback on ATM.

After some testing it was determined that the LM1 reads very lean at idle/partial throttle, but at WOT reads accurately. Makes sense if you think about it.
