tune help Well finally installed the 408 this weekend started tuning it and its not going well. My friend doing the tune is not a guru but has been doing his and a few friends rides ranging from 5.3 turbo and supercharged trucks and a couple of head cam fbodies and my old mtr he uses a lm1 during tuning to make sure not going to melt dn mtr. My car is a 98 with the pos comp in it but he had no probs doing the stock mtr with all bolt ons and cam last time ran it for a year hard with no probs we cant get the mtr to idle or if it does idle it wont rev and stay running or stumbles or surges. I hooked my modis scanner to it while he was charging his computer and it was showing po300 started it and had misses on most cyliders 1 and 6 being the worst at off idle but when idling it showed none will these big cam cars show misses cause of the cam or not. If someone could chime in on this I would really appreciate it maybe a 408 tune file to look at to see where we may be off at.
