Tsp Question?

Uh, yea. It is what tells the PCM how much "gas" your right foot is calling for...
Up to a point there will be compensation but beyond that [unspecified] point you will note drivability issues and quickly will have a code thrown...
Why you ask?

I ask because evrytime i punch it my ses light turns on.I go to check it and it gives a code po123. The car also at high rpms when the light turns on boughs out then kicks back in especialy in second gear.I don't know if this is part of the bad tps but i hope getting a new tps will fix this.Any suggestions.

did you grind the bumpstop?
you need to find someone with atap/live/vcmscanner and log the TPS VOLTS (not %)
A tps should slowly and fluidly sweep as you move the gas pedal from (0.4-0.5) to (4.6v). Now i've seen my bro's car do 4.71V at WOT which is cool but if you gotoo far it will throw a code TPS VOLT .
you're in houston, there's a ton of folks that can log your tps Voltage and see whats really going on.
