Disable P0134 DTC?
I know this has been debated before. I know there is another thread on it. And, I know that prior advice has been to never disable any 02 related dtc. PLEASE HEAR ME OUT.
My problem stems from bad voltage somewhere in the engine harness. Yes, both 02 sensors are heating up, and both are new, Denso brand. Yes, I checked the 02 harness extensions...and all the grounds...
Swapping harnesses isn't an option right now, so....
The car runs fine until the code sets. I have an Innovate wideband 02 gauge set up, so i can monitor the A/F ratio. The A/F is fine immediately after the code sets. Give it a few miles though, and then it starts misfiring and fouling plugs.
MY QUESTION IS: is the motor running like crap just because P0134 sets, or would it do it regardless of whether or not the ECM detected the lack of continuity and set the dtc?
Eventually, I'll just do a harness swap. But, in the mean time, I would like to be able to drive the car further than five miles before it throws that damn code.

Thanks guys.
