Bcm help!!
Hi guys.Need some BCM help. I've seached and read a few forms but cannot find a definite answer to my question. So I figured I'd ask and see if I get the answer.
I own a 03 Sierra 1500HD and believe I'm having BCM issues. Its telling me my right rear door is open (ajar) when it is definitely closed. I've changed the plug and solenoid and didn't fix it. The alarm will not set bue to that.
Some lights in the dash and A/C pannel sometimes work and sometimes don't. The binging noise to alert you and keys in ignition and lights on rarely work and when it does can barely hear it. And the 4wheel drive has I mind of it own. If I put it in 4wd dive the and back in 2wd, they next seveal times I start the truck it may be in auto, 4h, or 4l but never pulls like its in low range but I notice the front tires are pulling when I turn and have to push the botton to put it back in 2wd.
My question is is this the BCM and does it need to be replaced or can I just re-flash the existing one. Do I need a new BCM and does it need to be flashed once I buy a new one and how do I go about that?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Clint

4wd is independant of BCM it's usually the switch when acting as you describe.
As far as BCM take it to a shop and get it checked you need a scanner and trouble tree to determine if it's defective or a wiring problem. Then the replacement BCM and keyless entry remotes to be programmed correctly for the truck using GM TIS 2 WEB VIA the MDI module.
