Ls1 will not stay running, need HELP.
2002 v6 swap
2000 Ls1 engine with original pcm
Texas speed torquer 2 cam
ls6 oil pump
ls2 timing chain
ls7 lifters
and a lot of other little things...
Texas speed installed and tuned everything on the donor car before it was crashed and purchased by me. Since then we swapped motors and hooked up a t56 to what was an automatic before. A buddy used hp tuners to take off all un needed equipment and tune it to the best of his abilities. It ran decent but far from great. I blew out the rear end shortly after and let it sit for 3 years back home while i went off to college. I would start it maybe three times a year when i was home and it ran as normal the first two years and the last it started acting up. I just recently got the car to my new place and started to look everything over again.
The problem....
car has a hard time starting and will not stay running. If i unplug the mass airflow sensor it will at least stay running but will not rev up on demand when power is added quickly. I have already replace the MAF sensor, the MAP sensor, drained the tank, new gas, new fuel filter, new plugs, new wires, and cleaned the whole throttle body including the IAC/ICU (idle control unit). No change.....
Help please!!!
