Fried ECM.... maybe

Fried ECM.... maybe
First off, id like to say, never try and detail an extremely dirty motor yourself. Pay a professional, it will be worth it.
Now to the real reason im posting. Last week, like you probably have figured out by now, i detailed my ls1. After i blew all the water out with compressed air and a leaf blower, i drove the car for 15 minutes or so. After i let it sit overnight i woke up to a car that had all electronics working, just nothing to the starter, no click, no hum, nothing.
After a little research on here i realized it could be a slew of things and with work didn't have time to mess with it, i took it to a local shop.
Today they tell me they're 99% sure i fried the PCM. I know this is Defcon 1 of things that could have gone wrong.
My question is, what price range should i be looking at to fix it.
They're immediate quote 1500-2k or more. Fair or Ridiculous?
I realize my post count is tiny, and my join date is recent. Trust me ive been following this site for years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
