Default Atap question: Closed loop or open loop?

Can anyone tell me which table shows what loop the PCM is in at a given time? I bet this is a silly rookie question, but I am baffled. Thanks!

with A-tap, the only thing that would really say if you were in open or closed loop would be to monitor the Fuel Trim Cells. If you had EFILive, I believe that tells you if its in open or closed loop mode, could be mistaken on that though

There is a generic scan tool PID (called {SAE.FUELSYS} in EFILive) that will show you the fuel loop open/closed status. So *all* scan tools should support it.

It will be called something else in AutoTap but it is there.
Look for something like "fuel system status".

The actual SAE names are:
Fuel System 1 Status.
Fuel System 2 Status.

It will report 1 of 5 states for each fuel system.

Regards
Paul

I sure appreciate the responses. I'll filter through the tables tonight to see if I can find it. Thanks again!
