Downshift tuning

I'm sending my pcm to frost for tuning this winter. What I want to know is my car won't downshift to first gear unless I'm below 29 mph. Will the tune fix this or do I need to ask for a special request? I guess what I'm saying is I want it to downshift at higher speeds instead of being out of the power band when I stand on it at 35 mph and it only goes into second.

Mine was tuned to not downshift to 1st at all. I've heard it's hard on transmissions especially when you make a lot of power.

I don't make alot of power. And the power band of my stock cam comes on around 40 miles per hour in second. So when i floor it at 35 it feels slow and sluggish.
