Default maf question

Quick question , I did my71 nova lq4 conversion and had my computer tuned by frost via mail order. but the psi harness required that I use a different maf and o2 sensors than I had from the 04 van . I got the car running with the new stuff but she is running really rich and the st fuel trims are through the roof . is it from a vac leak or do I need to get the pcm reprogrammed for the new sensors ? or where do I go from here

ps :I did do a head and cam swap while the motor was out and steve had all that info but I didn't know about the sensor deal with the new harness

Thanks,
Keith

truck/van uses an 85mm MAF sensor with built in IAT sensor

cars typically use a 78mm MAF and a separate IAT sensor

Not to say there isn't a vacuum leak but if it was not tuned for the correct MAF sensor, it can cause the fueling to be way off.

the 04 3500 van maf is definitely smaller than the one that i have now (from 02 tahoe) I Think I answering my own questions .. unless I rewire the old maf into the new harness........

Knowing which MAF you had to use, providing it is not what it was tuned for, your tuner can fix that for you.
