Default Auto tuning ECU's?

Debating buying hptuners using my existing computer for my car, but having no experience tuning and looking to do a boosted motor something that can auto tune seems appealing. I've read that holley makes something like this, are there any others? Does the auto tuning work well for max power or is it more on the conservative side?

The newest Holley system does it pretty well only fueling, you have to know how much timing to give it, and starting out fueling. Maybe learning how to tune with a boosted engine isn't the safest thing to do?

Probably not, I'd want to experiment with it a bit on the NA set up in the car currently to at least try to get aquainted with the software.
