98 PCM/harness upgrade

98 PCM/harness upgrade Are the only options to upgrade to a later OS for the '98 F-bodies to use a re-pinned PCM or re-pinned harness from a '99-02 F-body? Are there any options of any value to trying to make an even later model PCM/harness work, such as something like an E38 PCM with a harness wired to use my sensors? Could I retain my drive by cable TB with a non-Fbody OS?

I'm not at all interested in re-pinning the harness myself. Are there sponsors that sell re-pinned harnesses? I found an online vendor, not a sponsor, which is selling:
Purchase a [snip] "0411" PCM for your 98 to 02 pcm swap. What you will get is a GM 12200411 PCM that will be loaded with the latest GM FBody OS (12212156). The PCM will also be loaded with the "Fuel Segment Swap" needed to make the 98 fuel system read properly on the 98 instrument cluster. We also include the new 99+ FBody PCM bracket needed to hold the PCM in place. Your old 98 PCM bracket in not compatible with the 99+ style PCM's. $200
Purchase a [snip] 1998 Camaro & Firebird LS1 Manual Transmission Engine Wiring Harness Re-Pinned for a 99+ PCM. What you will get is a tested and COMPLETE 1998 Camaro/Firebird MANUAL TRANSMISSION engine harness that has already been re-pinned and tested and verified for use with a 99+ PCM. This already complete harness will aid in the upgrade of 98 FBody vehicles wanting to run the newer and better 99+ style PCM's.
