Default Need a little help. Auto cal

I have an 07 Silverado classic was a v6 now a lq4. The truck ran great until it stopped showing Short term fuel trims. I looked at all fuses and everything on the truck nothing was bad. My tuner is Pat G I'm not putting any blame on him I had two tunes from him and both worked great. I went to load the second tune and it stopped half way. The truck wont crank start or anything. From talking with Pat and a few friends around here they are thinking that the BCM is locked thanks to VATS. I tried the re learn and everything. Is there anything else that it can be ?? If it is the Vats just unlock and Load Right ?? If the BCM is fried get a new one install re learn the new BCM from the Stealership then load tune and go ?? Any input is Helpful. Also How can I just get rid of all that crap VATS Passlock. Thanks for the help
