Default ls3 maf and LS1b OS

The MAF table (efilive) on my LQ9(LS1b ) starts at 1500 Hz and shows 1.58g/sec. THe LS3 map starts at 150Hz and .389 g/s.

Question is :
(1)Is there a way to change the start of Hz table from 1500Hz to 150Hz OR
(2) should I just paste the LS3 maf table in starting at 1500-which shows min g/s at 4.4? I think my min idle was somewhere around 6 or 7 g/s so I might be okay...?

Aby thoughts/experience would be awseome, thanks.

I should probly clarify that I will be using an LS3 intake/MAF combo on my LQ9 and I am working through detials now.

Mabe a better question is what happens if my g/s reads below the min? Does it just interpolate with "zero" or does it get cranky?

Just start by making your current MAF table resemble that of an LS3 MAF table, you will be customizing it anyways when you tune it. 1500hz is the lowest you need in your table as that's OS specific.

are you saying that I should be tuning a stock maf also? Does the computer freak out if the MAF sends a freq below 1500Hz?

I've got a stock 430 hp LS3. I notice that all of the frequency values from 150 to 750 are at an extremely low air flow of the same .019 g/cyl. Not sure when the flow would ever be that low, except maybe when cranking.

My frequency at 1.5 g/cyl is 2550. My air flow at idle is in the .7-.8 range.

Yes it should be adjusted as necessary. Below 1500hz is irrelevant, ignore it and populate the cells that are available in your calibration.
