VATS bypass, anyone tried this module??

VATS bypass, anyone tried this module?? My 98 TA decided to not start up the other day. All the lights, radio, everything works but when i try to start it up nothing happens at all and the dash turns off. 
From searching and reading other posts it seems to be the VATS system not letting it start. I also tried popping the clutch and it'd fire up for a second or so and die. So my question is, has anyone used this bypass module from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-VATS-or-P...-/281179660936 and do you think this will fix that problem??

If instrument cluster is going dead then the problem is not related to pass key antitheft system. Need a scanner to check pcm and bum for codes before throwing parts at it.

Well i ordered that part and got it installed. Works good to turn the injectors on but it still wont turn over. So grounded the starter relay, but now nothing on the dash works, any ideas?

Well for anyone whos wondering, apparently only in the 98's if the dash gauges fuse is blown it wont let the car turn over and shuts of the fuel injectors so that was my problem. Never would have that would cause all that headache
