Hey guys, just finished swapping out my 5.3 for a 6.0 and now I am getting a P0351 and a noticable miss. I have swapped the coil, coil harness, plug, and plug wire and still no spark and getting the code after resetting the codes each time. My lil spark tool shows there is no spark going through the wire.
So what gives? Bad PCM? It ran like a top with the 5.3. Same everything except long block.
Thanks guys!!

Since have swapped boil the coil and harness the issues comes down to the connections to the PCM or the PCM itself. This assumes that the replacement coil and at least one of the harnesses is good. There are tests using a multi-meter in the attached.

Hey I know it’s an old post but were you just getting a P0351 I’m getting that code and a maf code intermittently. My car was running great and now I can feel a slight mis and my ign/maf fuse blew when I went to restart it the car runs fine could I have a broken wire somewhere code comes back after clearing almost immediately or it does come right after start only feel the mis at higher rpm’s it’s weird car was running great until one day I felt the slight mis swapped coils plugs and spark plugs and didn’t help. Where was the break in your wire did youhave to cut back the insulation?
That was 12 years ago and I have no idea which wire it was. It was in my old K5 with a LS swap, which I still own, but I have since swapped out to a different harness and now running a different 6.0 with a turbo.
I always run speed density with my swaps and no MAF, so never was gonna be any help there....
