Hey everyone.

I'm in the process of swapping a 5.3l into my 87 el camino. But not just any old 5.3, I've built a 5.3 l with a 53mm precision turbo trubonotics 15 psi waist gate and a gen IV gm computer. All the mechanicals aspect i'me very formiliar with it's just all the tuning that I am very new at all the computer work I've never done anything like this before. I've only ever built car unrated small blocks and a couple big blocks. So I was hoping some one could give me a run down of how to do it specificley what I need to hook up and where what hardware I need for tuners and how I go about "unlocking" the vin on the computer and what that means. I am not talking about all the math and what tables to change cause I got a pretty good grasp on all of that I mean what do I phisycly need to do I'm a visual learner so pictures would help very much thank you all for every thing

I don't yet I haven't saved up the 6 or 800 that hp tuners of efi live goes for but I'm leaning toward hp because of there ease of use ability

I have hptuners. Don't hesitate to check the classifieds. Plenty of Hp tuner devices for sale and could possibly save you a few dollars.

So how do you use it walk me through what needs to be done from final assembly to first start

H I also need to know how to delete things like trams control cause I am running a th400 and especially vats (vehicle anti theft system) off the computer
