Drive by wire problems Hey guys, I got my C10 running again after the 4 months it's been sitting. I hook everything back up and turn my truck over. It starts up fine but after a few seconds the motor starts to shake violently. I replaced the mechanical water pump and thermostat about a month ago but never fired it up after the replacement. On an electrical note, this is a drive by wire 5.3 and for some reason my gas pedal is not working anymore. I did some welding on the front end but unhooked my ECM. After a few minutes of idling it just dies. What could explain the gas pedal problem? No ground? Thanks for helping me out. Take a look--
Fuel psi is?
Fuel psi will cause your idle/die issue. Won't affect the throttle operation.
Is the check engine lite on?
What's the battery voltage?

Little update, I re-ran my fuel hoses and got them perfect. I couldn't start it up to see if it did anything because I left my keys at home,but! I'm confident. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a scanner and see what code it's throwing. I'm just praying I didn't damage the actual box that sends stuff to the PCM. Those things are super expensive.
