Which tune???

Which tune???
I'm getting ready to get my LSX motor tuned. At present I don't have a MAF sensor, but would get one if I should.
So my car is a 97 Z/28 with a 01 6.0 bored and stroked to a 6.2 with L92 heads and intake, 1 7/8 headers and custom cam.
Should I get a speed density tune, or buy a MAF and get that tune?
Thanks,
Rob

Since you dont have a MAF now, I would stick to a Speed Density tune
on a Vehicle that still has a MAF its really dependent on so many things....
the camshaft plays a large peart of my decision factor on when a Vehicle can stay MAF or go SD..
some cams do fine on a MAF system...
but a Bigger cam tends to have a lot of reversion at idle that can cause some issues with a MAF and will cause bad instability(example...it will run perfect 90% of the time and then randomly it will die coming to a stop for no apparent reason)
typically when a customer has a cam with more than 8* of overlap, I go to a Speed Density tune
it becomes easier to get stable...and stability is usually the most important thing on a Daily Driver Car.
