depends on the car and the ECU.....
the less you can log, the faster it will be.
if you only need a few things to do what you need to do, then only use a few things...
if you need a bunch of things, than use a bunch of things..
but dont data log it if you really dont need it.
I normally log RPM, MAP/MAF, ECT, AFR, AFR Commanded
for Idle stuff I add in IAC, STIT, LTIT, Throttle Follower/Cracker
I usually do transmission stiff by feel unless I am troubleshooting an issue like no lockup or shifts feeling funny.
if I feel like I'm running out of Injector, I will add Injector Duty Cycle and Injector Pulsewidth
when I want to check closed loop fueling, I add STFT and LTFT
if its acting stupid I will add o2 voltages to make sure the o2's are switching properly...
but I never add it all at once... I only use what I need for that particular situation.
