EFI Live worth it?
if you swapped cams without a tune it's not even a matter of "worth it" or not so much as it won't run optimally (or possibly even safely) without having a tune
even with the mildest cams (for instance a stock cam from a different ls engine) you will need a tune to get the full benefit

I use EFI Live and HP Tuners everyday. They both have their pro's and con's but you can't go wrong with either one. They both offer demo versions, I recommend downloading each of them and checking them for yourself.
^^^^^ very much so. One of the main difference you here about is with HP you can't change one year VIN and have a different year OS. This would mostly cause problems where state Emissions is required to be checked by computer.
