Wrong injector data?

Default Wrong injector data?

Hey guys, got a bit of a mystery going on, I recently flashed to an 02 tahoe os for the flex fuel capabilities in my 1999 silverado on an 0411 pcm. I got that going and its cool and whatnot, but im having problems deciphering my injector data. They are # 12613412 part number injector, Which shows them to be 50lbs at 58 psi rail pressure. now the hard part is they are ls3 style injectors, which means the table dont quite match up. I retuned my ve and maf and im getting some ve numbers over 100% where there shouldnt be any. Ive used the ls3 to ls1 excel data sheet to get the data squared away by my numbers are still over 100% and the maf numbers are way higher than need be. Here is a copy of my tune, let me know if you need any logs. Im just trying to figure out whats going on here.

You can scale the tune by say 80% to get the numbers in line. Multiply the injector data, all the MAF and VE tables by a percentage (like 60 or 80%) to get your injector data in range.

I had to run an 80% tune on mine to get the ECU within the limits for my 95's.

A quick cheat would be to halve the IFR and double the stoich of the fuel in the tune if you want to do it that way. Then all the other tables stay the same.

Any reason for this? they are 50 lb flex fuel injectors off a 2010-2014 6.0... nothing out of the norm

Your tune is commanding excessive PE fueling above 4k rpm. I really don't think you want 1.30 PE (or 11.3 AFR, .77 lambda on gasoline). Did someone rape the PE to get it dialed in with a WB on a dyno? You may be running out of fuel pressure commanding a lot of fueling to compensate for the drop. Too many unknowns here. As the pressure drops IDC climbs to compensate, fuel pressure drops some more, IDC rises ect. Round and round she goes.

You may be commanding more on the MAF/VE because of low fuel pressure. Hard to say.

Thats the stock PE table from the 02 tahoe flex fuel os..... lol soooo i have noooo idea

OK, well, that's richer than I run on E85. If you are planing to run the corn, target .82 lambda. Leaner for 93, prob .86 is a safe start. I think you need to log your fuel pressure somehow.

Lambda is the same regardless of fuel and if you are going to switch to alt fuels, then it makes life easier once you get your head around it.

GM PE is the inverse of Lambda. So 1.3 GM PE is is ~.78 lambda. 1.25 is .8, ect.

Sorry I can't offer more help but it really may be a fuel pressure issue. Hopefully someone with that OS will chime in.

I am scanning all in lambda also, Ive tuned a few of my buddies cars and this 100+ ve table is crazy.... lol but ill hook up a fuel pressure guage and see whats up. This weird thing is that the afr doesnt go lean, it stays the same as what it should....
