e38 pcm vvt and dbc
I have an Ly6 with variable valve timing and a drive by cable throttle body. I'm using the e38 pcm. What are the problems with having DBC with the e38 pcm besides the Idle Air Control? And can the Idle Air Control just not be used? It is mated to a nv4500 manual transmission so any stalling at stop lights will be my fault. I know that would cause problems for cold startups but I can just give it a little throttle on startup. Is there any other problems with not having idle air control?
