Default Help finding race car body harness

I am not sure if this is the right section, but Ill post it here. I am wanting to remove all of the body harness on my 00 trans am and replace it with a basic functioning harness that has just enough to get it down the track with headlights and brakelights. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one or get one built. I would really like to do away with the BCM all together. It is causing a lot of problems. It took a really nasty fall when I pulled the dash and I am honestly tired of chasing electrical problems.

Thanks in advance.

Just get a basic 6 or 8 circuit fuse panel with the circuits you want. I don't think you'll find anything specific for a f body.

And once I do that, can I still use the factory engine harness or will I need some sort of stand alone?

Thanks

You would need to modify the factory harness into a standalone, but its pretty much a standalone stock already. Its very minimal work to convert it.

I actually just purchased the Holley HP EFI harness and PCM. It seemed like the simplest fix. Simple harness with just what I need, stand alone setup and its own tuning software and wideband. A bit pricey but worth it to me.
