No shift
No shift To quickly summarize
98 Vette that I just installed a forged motor and increased the boost, etc for a little more power. RPM stage IV A4
I set my shift at 6600 and rev limiter at 6950. From a launch, the 1-2 hits the limiter. Punching it at 50, it downshifts to 2 and hits limiter before 2-3 shift.
When I log, the scanner shuts off whenever it hits the limiter (??) every time
I have lowered the rpm and speed several times, the last, to 5600 rpm.
I tried a "drive off launch" with traction control on, but it flew right past 6000 and I got off as it hit the limiter. I tried a 50mph hit that down shifter to 2 and at 2-3, it didn't shift and went for the limiter.
Any ideas what would cause it to ignore the shift points?
