Looking for HP Tuners software

Looking for HP Tuners software A while back I bought a second hand HP Tuners unit. Old serial interface with a USB adapter. I tried running it with the VCM Suite 2.2 demo software, but I get an error that the interface is supported. I'm guessing I need a much older version of the software. Contacted HP Tuners and they basically told me they don't support it anymore, no offer to help at all. Is there a place where I can get an older copy of the software that will work with my tuner? Also, I haven't received any response from the seller so I don't have a username/password or serial number....... 
HP Tuners serial cables had software specific to the serial # of each cable. The software contained the model year licenses purchased for each cable. There was no individual vehicle licensing, only model year. Anyone else's serial cable software will not work with your cable. If the person you purchased the cable from set up a login with a customer page with HP Tuners, the software will still be downloadable from their customer page. You will only be able to use the cable on vehicles that are covered by the MY licenses purchased for that cable while they provided support for it. I have both their serial and usb cables and I can still download the software for my serial cable. It will be version V2.22 and any file saved with V2.23 or later will not open with V2.22. They were supposed to continue to provide software upgrades for the serial cables, but so far they haven't lived up to that promise.

I'd be happy just to get my hands on old software, not even looking for upgrades. Doesn't look like they will even give access to old copies, although from what you're telling me that won't help me anyway. Starting to look like my best bet is to trade this in on a newer version.
There was a deadline long past for upgrading the serial cables to the USB MPVI and transferring the licenses. Pretty sure they won't even consider doing it now. Do you even know what model year licenses were supposed to be on the cable you bought. They originally came with 1 MY, then 2. Then you could purchase more as needed. But only MYs. Your only hope of getting it to work would be getting the login and password for the customer page from the person you bought it from. The software is still on their server because mine is.
