Question 98 Z28 deleting codes

What do I need to delete the A.I.R pump? I have access to LS edit but no way of connecting it to my laptop, the lead connections won`t match up.
I know someone who has EFI live but his car is a 2000 model. would buying a 97 Corvette licence work as the engine was transferred to the Z28 for 1998? or am I way off?

You will need to licence the pcm of your 1998. And don't try to flash a file from a different vehicle, as you will fry your pcm.

With EFI live 98's are free to tune if I read the website correctly.

98's are free with efi live, no license needed.

OK thanks. never used EFI live, how do you set it up for the 98 if no licence needed? is it straight forward to use? I take it I can copy and keep the original of my PCM and then modify a version to delete the codes?

Just read out the stock calibration and save it. Make all your changes to the calibration, save it with a new name and calibration flash it into the pcm. It wont ask for a license when you flash it. On a 99+ it will ask for you to license the pcm when you try to flash it.
