Knock Sensor P0327 and P0332
Knock Sensor P0327 and P0332 Having a real hard time fixing this issue. A few months ago I got water in one of my knock sensors and fried it. I have a 2004 CTS-V with MP-112 supercharger. I replaced both sensors and the wiring harness and I still am getting the codes. Checked the resistance at the wiring harness and I am getting 100K Ohm resistance so the new KS's are good. Why am I still getting the codes? I've reset the computer with my scanner and also disconnected the battery and shorted out the pos and neg leads to try and recalibrate the ECU. Anyone else ever have this issue and fixed???? I've searched for quite a while and have found others with the problem, but no fixes......
Will try that. Any idea what the pin #'s are a the PCM? 2004 CTS-v, LS-6. What doesn't make sense is the one KS was bad when it got water in it as it ohm'd out at 0 resistance. I'm assuming this is what threw my original code. The wiring harness at the pcm was never touched. Any one else have any suggestions????
Just a follow up for others who may have this problem. After checking the wiring all the way from the knock sensors all the way back to the ECM and confirming the continuity and resistance of both circuits, I replaced the 2 cheap China made sensors I bought off Fleabay with $50 each AC Delco Mexican made sensors. This fixed the problem. Interestingly, both the cheap and AC Delco Ohmed out at 100K ohms. Not sure what the ECM did not like about the cheap ones but this problem drove me nuts so I figured I post for others. Also, I was very careful to torque the sensors to just 15 ft. pounds.....
