98 z28 with 99up harness
98 z28 with 99up harness Ok here the deal guys. I have a 98z I did the pin out swa, I'm using a truck 411 pcm and engine side works fine. But Tran doesn't work so great. I only have 1-2,-3. When I come to a complete stop I just have 2-3. Any suggestions?. I was thinking about just putting a 99 harness in the car from a friend. But I was told that the harness is different. What would work and what wouldnt work.
if it worked before You may have to go back to make sure you have all the wires in the right place. find out which ones control the trans an make sure you swapped them right. I had an issue with my fuel gauge when I did mine and had the fuel segment swap done correctly in my 98 Formula. after checking the 2 wires that work that part of the system I found that I actually put the wire in the wrong place even though I had it labeled correctly.
It has never worked before. I have all the wires in the right spot. I question an orange wire from the trans. It's labeled grey on the diagrams I look at. It's the low reference circuit wire.
