LS1 Shuts off WOT, sometimes with backfires
same problem I got the same problem going on in my turbo 2000 Camaro. I have changed the crank sensor multiple times, coils, plugs, cam sensor, pigtails on cam and crank sensors. my problem is very erractic and could go days without doing it but when it does it I will jab the gas to accelerate and it will shut off and back fire 3-4 times while rpms drop then will fire right back up and keep going. I been fighting this problem for 2 years now and cant figure it out.

I've had the same problem with my SBC 24x conversion and couldn't find a single other person with the same symptoms as mine.
At least now I know to look for a ground or CPS.

Sure you can! "Calculating" in this case took about a second and a half and posting not much more than a minute. I was just advising that the recipient of your "thank you" isn't here to appreciate it. He is long gone. But you did learn to check your connections...
