Default Help Identifying What PCM/Harness I need

I just picked up a 6.0L LQ4. It "came" with a wiring harness, but was cut up beyond recognition - did not even have PCM connectors (which would have helped me out a lot). I was able to find a part number sticker on it though: 15929552

I was told it came out of a 2007 Chevy 2500 box truck.

I pulled the Crank Sensor - and it looks like it is a 24x reluctor ring. I just checked the part number on the crank sensor and it is saying it is a sensor for a 24x reluctor. It is also DBW/electric throttle body.

Anyone know if this is the older style harness/pcm or the newer (e38)?

Awesome..

And since it is a 24x - could I toss the DBW TB and get a cable driven one - then just buy a cable driven harness and be good to go? (and get a PCM that runs a 6.0 w/ cable TB)

Correct you can switch to DBC if you get the right harness, pcm and a cable TB. You need a 896 or 411 pcm.
