LS1-Edit question I think I already know the answer to this, but I just want to make sure. Will this POS LS1-Edit software read PCM's for which it wasn't licensed, and/or same/different model years?
I know all about HPTuners and that's not an option yet

Hmm, I just downloaded a 1999 M6 file from installuniversity.com, and my LS1-Edit tells me this:

That's only for writing. As John mentioned, the versions are split into 97-98, 99-00, and 01-02. If you bought it for a 00 car, you can only write to the PCM's you've licensed. But you'll be able to read the files from any 99-00 car, for instance.
